The Professional Learning Network works with individual companies and organizations to put together the best continuing education courses possible. Each of our courses is available for a company or organization to host. Hosting a course allows a company to choose the location, the cost (courses are billed to hosts on a per-person basis) and times of the course. If more than one instructor is available for a particular course date, it is your choice who will teach the course. Host responsibilities include:
Arrange and pay for facility and refreshments;
In compliance with state law, PLN will provide ALL advertising materials to the host, however, it is the responsibility of the host to distribute this material;
Room set-up (i.e. classroom-style unless otherwise agreed), registration table, instructor’s table at front of the room, overhead projector, projection screen, and lavaliere microphone (for groups of 35 or more) if available;
Collect and accept registrations with real estate permanent ID numbers (ID numbers required for every course);
Forward to PLN a complete name list of all course attendees along with their permanent ID numbers at least three days prior to course;
Supervise on-site sign-ins;
Distribute Certificates of Completion to all attendees; and
Forward sign-in and evaluation sheets to PLN with the instructor or within three days following course completion.
